It’s about thought leadership. Owning your lane and crushing it.

Spending too much time writing proposals you don’t win?

Always fighting misunderstandings or misperceptions about your value?

Working way too hard, but not getting the money to show for it?

If these challenges make your anxiety level rise,
it's time to IGNITE your thought leadership & watch your business MULTIPLY!

A personalized growth regimen + individualized accountability for entrepreneurs who LOVE what they do, but HATE that growth is still such a grind!

I’ll be honest. I really struggled with my business early in my career. I knew I was great at planning events, but I was watching people with way less experience winning contracts left and right while I struggled. People were doing 100+ events a year and looked so much more successful. But then I realized something HUGE that changed my business. I hadn’t found my sweet spot – the unique set of skills and passions that makes Liz King Events differentiated and necessary. But once I did that – I saw my business quadruple and multiple revenue sources opened before my eyes. That’s when I figured out I didn’t have to do a hundred events a year or spend all my time writing proposals I had no chance of winning. And I found FINANCIAL FREEDOM and the time to do the things that MATTER to me. And now I want to help YOU do the exact same thing.

Take Action to Grow Your Business Now!

I’m Liz King Caruso and I’m on a mission to help more businesses find lasting success as thought leaders so you can spend more time winning the right business and less time hustling after the wrong clients.

When I started my business, I spent WAY too much time writing proposals I didn’t win, and getting underpaid for the good work I was doing. By the end of each event, I felt overworked, undervalued and taken advantage of.

But the thing I learned is that my clients will never value me more than I value myself. And if my messaging doesn’t reflect my unique skills and passions I bring to the table, I’ll spend all my time selling clients who were not destined for me (and that’s when selling REALLY feels like work).

Since I’ve tapped into my unique offering, I’ve worked with amaaazing clients like Microsoft, Ramit Sethi from I Will Teach You To Be RichSeatGeek on their OnDeck Sports and Technology ConferenceClaudia Chan and her S.H.E. Summit Week, and many more. We’ve done events at the United Nations building, with Kelly Clarkson and Michael Strahan in attendance, and executed events from small to large.

I also started my own brand – techsytalk. As much as I love working for the clients we have, I knew starting my own brand around event tech would give me the best platform to grow my thought leadership and make a big impact. In the past 8 years, I’ve built an audience of 35,000+ event professionals around the world and been able to speak nationally, consult, host our own events, run a podcast and make more reliable revenue.

Establishing my niche in event technology helped me win awards like:

  • Top 25 Women in the Events Industry, Meetings and Conventions
  • 25 Most Influential Event Planners, Successful Meetings
  • Top 5 Women in Event Tech, MyQaa
  • 40 Under 40 Up and Coming Event Planners in the Industry, Connect
  •  Top Influential Female Leaders in the Events Industry, Omniscience
  • and more!

And – best of all – doing all of this helps me land the best clients for me and get paid what I deserve.

Now, I bring together my personal experience paired with curated resources that have helped me think about my business in a unique and powerful way.

If you could get one more client a year, or bring in an all-new revenue source, would it make a difference for you? Would you put in the work to get to the next level?

"For anyone who wants to get serious about being a proactive and strategic business owner, I highly recommend applying for the Ignite program. It's not only given me the tools I need to prepare for 2019, but I also feel empowered and unafraid to take risks, knowing that my business core aligns with my personal talents and beliefs.

Ignite gives you the resources and training the way an incubator does but unlike an incubator, Liz's approach is not to isolate your learning experience in a bubble but to provide actionable weekly goals that are relevant to what's happening with your business in real-time. She provides constant support as you attempt to implement what you've learned, whether she's proofreading an email campaign you're working on or new copy for your website.

Ignite has allowed me to sharpen my brand by being clear about the kind of problems I want to solve. Developing my business' core values and identifying my target clients has helped me to immediately identify when there is misalignment with staff, vendor partners or clients. This allows me to shift my approach quickly and proactively course-correct before it has a negative impact on my business.

As a result of following the Ignite curriculum, I now have a clear vision for my business and a detailed roadmap on how to get there!"

"I've owned my event planning business for almost 8 years. For several years I have been feeling overworked, underpaid, and unsure of the direction I should be going in. The Ignite program has truly changed my perspective on my business.

I am a professional development junkie, so I listen to podcasts, go to conferences, read articles and books, etc. But nothing has made a major impact on my business like Ignite. First of all, having a program that is specific to event planners was one thing that set this apart from other growth opportunities I have done in the past.

Secondly, having someone personally guiding me on the path was huge. Liz offers so much knowledge and shows you how to look at your business with a new perspective that can truly impact growth. And getting to experience this with others made it a wonderful experience. This program has given me the tools I needed to figure out the kind of work I really want to be doing while at the same time, and sometimes more importantly, the kind of work I DON'T want to be doing.

Because of Ignite I will be making a major pivot in my business, which is exciting and not as scary as it would be doing it alone. But even without the major pivot, minor shifts have caused me to let go of low-paying events and clients that do not align with my ideal work, which opened the door to new opportunities that are higher paying, and the kind of work I want to be doing. I have also had the courage to ask for and get more money from recurring clients.

Even if the program was over now, I would call it a success. My revenue will be higher this year than it was last year due to this program alone. And we still have several months of the program to go! I highly recommend this program if you are feeling stuck, want to make some changes and need someone to hold you accountable, or if you are just not feeling your career or business going the direction you want it to go."
