What is the “problem” that your tool seeks to solve?
Event Edge gives organizers the power to understand how people attend their event, and allows users to experience the event instead of just attend it. It solves the problem of communication, networking, inefficiency, and reach. It also allows events to go green by replacing the printed packet that most events print.
What is the best audience for this tool? Corporate events? Social? Other? Large? Small?
Event Edge is system that we customize so it’s designed to help all types and sizes of events because the app is built for a particular event on top of a common framework. It can be used for multiple corporate meetings, college seminars, conventions, or weeklong conferences. It can be tailored to fit with a particular venue, or to work with a particular corporate structure. In short, it’s adaptable for specific needs.
What does your tool help event planners do better?
Event Edge helps event organizers communicate and disseminate information instantly to the attendees. It also allows organizers to collect analytics data from the attendees so they can make informed decisions. Organizers can also better connect with the attendees by tailoring specific sections to specific attendees as well as giving them a platform to communicate with that is ubiquitous in the attendees pocket both before and after the event.
How is your tool different from/better than the competition?
Event Edge streamlines complicated technology in a very easy to use tool. Our tool gives the power of management to the organizer and the power of use to the attendee. Even though we utilize the cloud our apps work even when there is no Internet without issue. Our analytics provide useful information to organizers; our management administration panel gives organizers the dynamic ability of the web, while retaining the stability and power of a native app.
What is the single coolest feature of your product?
In addition to the analytics, one of the coolest features of the app is Cloud Syncing. This lets the app communicate with an administration system controlled by the organizer to make sure it can be instantly changed; at the same time its smart enough to not waste bandwidth and recognize when there is no Internet, all the while continuing to fully function for the user.

Event Edge is smart app that works on smart phones. It crunches analytics, and recognizes how users are interacting and adjusts the way it works accordingly. It’s super easy to use for the Organizer and the Attendee, but smart and powerful enough to be a serious tool.
