One resource you can’t do without

My life would dissolve into a motionless puddle without Twitter. It is the gateway to a world of limitless knowledge, wisdom and some truly wonderful people for me. I think I have learnt more since joining Twitter than in the *–* years before. I am still meeting amazing people and discovering some of our limitless potential every day through Twitter, so please don’t even mention the possibility of taking it or my iPhone away.

What advice do you have for people new to your industry?

Join Twitter. After that, study people and learn what motivates and inspires them. All business is about humans. All the hardware and software in the world won’t teach you as much about design, business or making success as studying people will. Read a lot. Watch a lot of theatre and movies. Develop a sense of what makes a great story. All of life is narrative, so study the way a story can move a person faster than a command ever could. Also, smile a lot.
