Showplans to launch Showplanner at the Event Production Show

ShowplannerShowplans has announced the official launch of Showplanner, a modular platform enabling show attendees and exhibitors to connect through an interactive 3D floorplan, at the Event Production Show, London Olympia, UK on February 5th-6th 2013. The latest release from the premium service provider, who organizer Mash Media selected as an official show partner, will include ShowplannerMap, an online portal on the Event Production Show website and ShowplannerApp, an app featuring a stand check-in tool and a ‘QR Hunt’ game. The Showplanner portal can be visited at http://www.eventproductionshow.co.uk/visitor-info/floor-plan, and non-attendees of the Event Production Show are also invited to create a user account and experience the platform for themselves if they wish.

Showplans, who will also be exhibiting at the Event Production Show, believe Showplanner will make waves, with the majority of attendees and exhibitors expected to use it to make connections and plan their time at the show. CEO Adam Jones says “we’re excited to debut Showplanner at the Event Production Show. It’s the perfect environment to showcase this unique technology, which brings exhibitor lead generation, gamification and attendee planning together in a show app and online platform whose smart interface and visual appeal are sure to turn heads.”

Showplanner consists of several modules for various show types and purposes, including trade and consumer exhibitions, award ceremonies, conferences and networking events plus a specialist tool for exhibition stand sales. Showplanner has already seen a number of pre-release sales, and it will be used again by Mash Media at the Exhibition News Awards in April in the form of the ShowplannerAwards module.
