What is the “problem” that your tool seeks to solve?
Picatic is crowdfunding for events. We take the risk out of planning events. We didn’t want to see anyone lose money for putting on events and now no one has to.
What is the best audience for this tool? Corporate events? Social? Other? Large? Small?
Our audience is anyone wanting to try a new event or anyone who wants to have seamless event registration. We support events of all sizes from free tickets to thousands of dollars per ticket. Our platform is specifically designed for crowdfunding events so if you plan on crowdfunding your tuition you are not our audience.
What does your tool help event planners do better?
Event planners will always know if there event is going to be a success, or not, weeks before the event is held. Picatic takes the guess work out of planning events through it’s crowdfunding model. If X amount of tickets are sold by X amount of days your event has validity and it will continue. If you haven’t sold X amount of tickets in X amount of days your event is probably not going to do very well so we will shut the event down for you, and reimburse anyone who pre-purchased a ticket. No more guessing on the day of your event if the event will be a success or not.
How is your tool different from/better than the competition?
We are different then the competition because we offer crowdfunding for events and on our traditional ticketing side we offer the same features, and we are cheaper. However, the crowdfunding tool is a feature that is changing the way events are put on. Picatic wants to take the risk and stress out of planning events which makes us better then the competition.
What is the single coolest feature of your product?
The single coolest feature I think Picatic has is the drag and drop feature for ticket items. The drag and drop makes things so much easier!
Anything else we need to know?
We want everyone to know there is a new way to put on events. We need everyone to know that they can plan many events at one time now and never have to worry about losing money.
