What is the “problem” that your tool seeks to solve?
TapWalk seeks to connect the users to the world Immediately around them. TapWalk’s tool is its platform that simplifies the process of creating, and keeping up to date, custom mobile apps for large events and venues. TapWalk keeps the trade show attendees connected to the show before and after the few days that the show is physically happening. TapWalk makes it easy for the Trade Show to measure each exhibitor’s, and the organizer’s, influence on the show as a whole. TapWalk is a cost effective, advanced, simple, and necessary way to have a 21st century trade show.
What is the best audience for this tool? Corporate events? Social? Other? Large? Small?
TapWalk’s platform is so customizable that it can work for all sorts of different events! There is no event too big, or too small! If there is information to be communicated between people it is the perfect choice!
What does your tool help event planners do better?
It is a source of PR and attention, and causes more engaged attendees. The better the services an Event Planner offers, the more he or she will be booked!
How is your tool different from/better than the competition? Our tool beats the competition by being structured for events, but the look and feel of each custom mobile app will be completely original, and branded to the organizer! We offer the best value for the price payed!
What is the single coolest feature of your product?
We are implementing an indoor location software which will be able to accurately position the user on each custom exhibitor map, and move in real time. This is a feature requested by some larger shows, and we are very excited to be so far ahead in making it happen. When in place, we will be the only mobile app company that can do this for trade shows!
Anything else we need to know?
We are from Boston!! And we are proud to be doing the app for the renowned Boston Globe Travel Show. Our apps typically have a floor plan map (with points of interests showing exhibitor information), a surrounding city map (with points of interests showing local restaurants, hotels, bars, spas, etc.), a news feed, a calendar of events, a twitter connection (which makes you tweet with the appropriate #/@ filter of the show), and any links that the app should take the user to! We can add much increased functionality as well to fit each clients needs.
