NYC Venue Tour: @SilkRdTavernNYC

I’m really excited to write this post – my first-ever venue tour on the blog. As an event planner here in NYC, I always get the chance to check out new and exciting venues. And let me tell you – this city is FULL of them! About 2 months ago, a dear friend of mine, Patricia Ng, opened a new venue here in the city that is simply amazing. I’ve been there a whopping 4 times in the past two months and I’m finally taking the time to share it with the world. (I considered keeping this little gem to myself, but my conscience got to me!). In any case, I am proud to introduce you to Silk Rd. Tavern. A delicious culinary experience, warm atmosphere and the PERFECT place to take your top client to dinner or host a networking event or fundraiser. So now, without further ado, I share with you via photos, Silk Rd. Tavern. And, as always, apologies for my iphone camera pictures. I’m sure it’s the photographer and not the camera, but I blame the camera.

Thanks for posting this, Liz… as a fellow patron/fan who has died and been reborn after eating those mouthwatering mushroom gyoza, I can attest to the culinary genius behind my fave new entry in the NYC restaurant scene. Chef Leo Forneas nearly killed me last night (as in slayed me with deliciousness) with his fried oyster and clam strip Boardwalk sandwiches… and what were those little mini eggplant thingies with miso soy glaze???
This place is seriously drool-worthy… :)
