I love, love, love all things events and technology. If you can’t tell by my tweets, Facebook posts and all my other social media interactions, I love to talk about events and the tools that help us do what we do better. What is the “problem” that your tool seeks to solve?
Music For Tomorrow’s online band booking service enables event planners to easily connect and book jazz musicians for any event. Through this service, MFT provides performance opportunities and connects jazz musicians with audiences.

MFT enables you to find and book musicians quickly and within budget, creating more access to jazz music while extending the music’s reach. Name your own price, choose a band, and enjoy live music while creating jobs.

What is the best audience for this tool? Corporate events? Social? Other? Large? Small?
Any audience can benefit from using MFT to book a jazz musician. Regardless of event size or scope, MFT will enable the event planner to book an appropriate musician. Wherever there is an eager jazz audience, MFT will identify a musician that can fit the gig.

What does your tool help event planners do better?
MFT is the easiest possible way to book jazz musicians quickly and within budget.

How is your tool different from/better than the competition?
There currently is no other tool that exists like this. MFT is the only service that allows anyone in the new york area to name your own price, date, genre of jazz and book a jazz musician of your choice.

What is the single coolest feature of your product?
MFT’s mission is to provide job opportunities for jazz musicians and continue the jazz legacy of today for tomorrow. Every gig that is booked through MFT is another job that is provided for jazz musicians – strengthening the creative economy.
