As I meet more and more amazing people through the event professionals community, Follow Friday has become increasingly difficult to manage. How do I suggest 30 people to follow in any kind of meaningful way? So, I’ve decided to highlight one member of the community each week that I suggest you follow. This person is someone that I respect and have learned a lot from (whether they realize it or not).
Alright, so today my Follow Friday goes out to two people – my wonderful co-presenters at the recent IAEE Conference. Eric and Denise are the perfect example of the power of social media. The group was formed, proposal submitted and presentation put together completely virtually. As a matter of fact, we didn’t meet face-to-face until the day of the event! (Well, I met Eric the night before, but still)! I already knew they were incredibly talented individuals prior to the conference, but am so much more convinced of their skills after seeing their work first hand!
