As I meet more and more amazing people through the event professionals community, Follow Friday has become increasingly difficult to manage. How do I suggest 30 people to follow in any kind of meaningful way? So, I’ve decided to highlight one member of the community each week that I suggest you follow. This person is someone that I respect and have learned a lot from (whether they realize it or not).
I can’t wait to share with you today’s Follow Friday. Jose Ramirez is an event professional that I have been connecting with over the past year. He recently won the NACE San Diego 2010 Event Professional of the Year Award and will be on the 2011 board as their Social Media Chair! He has also graciously offered me his frequent flyer points to get me to Chicago for Event Camp! I had the pleasure of meeting him face-to-face at the New York BizBash Social Media Lounge in October.
