One of my #Eventprofs dreams is to make it to an Event Camp VERY soon. I actually paid for a ticket to Event Camp East Coast and was unable to make it at the very last minute. SUPER bummed! As many of you know, Event Camp Chicago is coming up in February and it is sure to be a great event. I’d love to attend to meet #eventprofs face-to-face (everyone I’ve met so far has been AMAZING) as well as to experiment with new technologies and event environments. However, this time, I’m finding it difficult to find the finances to attend.
Today, my dear friend Lindsey Rosenthal suggested that I set up a chipin so that my fellow #eventprofs could help me get to Event Camp. I thought it was an amazing idea so I decided to try it out. Please see the widget below to donate to the cause. If I’m able to raise the funds to go, I plan to tweet and blog about every facet of my experience. I’m also happy to do other things to warrant your contributions (wear your t-shirts etc. etc. You can be creative). I know I don’t deserve to go above other folks, but I figured you don’t get what you don’t ask for. So, I greatly appreciate in advance any support you can offer!
