As I meet more and more amazing people through the event professionals community, Follow Friday has become increasingly difficult to manage. How do I suggest 30 people to follow in any kind of meaningful way? So, I’ve decided to highlight one member of the community each week that I suggest you follow. This person is someone that I respect and have learned a lot from (whether they realize it or not).
Today, my suggestion is Ed Wagaba, the newest member of the Liz King Events team! I am so excited to officially be working with Ed who is also a great friend of mine for several years! It’s an amazing thing to work with people that you can trust. Ed knows all about the importance of in-person relationship building and is applying that knowledge to the LKE social media effort. He has been a great inspiration to me in the formation of my business – getting me to think about all of the important questions in business ownership – my values and the ways in which I can contribute to the larger community. These are the really important questions that only a good friend can remind you to focus on. I genuinely respect him and am so glad to officially work with him.
