The day has come – the BizBash NY Expo! I am proud to be one member of an awesome team managing the social media lounge at today’s expo. The lounge opens at noon and we look forward to seeing you there! If you’re a tweeter or on FourSquare, please check out this list of ways that you can get involved with social media today! You won’t be able to miss us as we’ll be in the center of Javits!
1. If you are new to social media, stop by our lounge and we can help you set up some accounts and learn how to use them effectively.
2. When you arrive, check in on FourSquare to the BizBash NY Social Media Lounge.
3. As you attend sessions, tweet all your takeaways so that those who couldn’t make it can benefit from all the great info you learn!
4. Play the scavenger hunt game! Look for clues on the #BizBash hashtag on Twitter. Guess what booth we’re talking about and then submit your answer in the lounge. The winner receives a $500 rental!
5. Watch the #BizBash stream for other fun games throughout the day. You’ll win giftcards from Charity Choice, Starbucks and even a book by Tony Hsieh!
6. Share your pics and video with the lounge so we can share it on the big screen!
7. Come to the lounge to talk about branding your business using social media or integrating sm into your events!
8. Take your picture in the TwitPic booth in the social media lounge!
